As a Front Desk Security Officer in a retail location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping to monitor access, assist visitors, and support security-related awareness through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures, assisting visitors, and supporting access and visitor management activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, urgent situations, and customer concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Monitor entry areas, visitor logs, cameras, and communication systems from a stationary post to help support security-related awareness and report unusual activity.
• Assist with badge access, package handling, directions, and general front desk support while maintaining professional interactions with customers, staff, and guests.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, and security-related concerns in required reports and share relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
