Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting visitors, and supporting access control activities for a technology-focused office location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, issue badges or passes, and maintain accurate entry logs in line with post instructions.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed.
  • Answer questions, direct employees and guests to appropriate destinations, and support security-related reporting, documentation, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Observe front desk activity and surrounding entry points to help to deter unauthorized access, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
