Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
• Monitor front desk activity, manage visitor access processes, and support badge, sign-in, and credential verification in accordance with property guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with property management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and assist with general lobby and reception support to help maintain an organized and professional environment.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, and unusual conditions through detailed reports and timely communication with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
