About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a Concierge Security Officer to provide customer service and white-glove service in the lobby of a prestigious gated condominium property. The officer will greet and assist residents, employees, visitors, guests, and vendors; represent the company brand; deliver packages; answer phones; and take direction in a humble manner. The role also supports quick and effective responses to employee, security, facilities, and other service needs. The successful candidate will have a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple daily tasks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Possess and maintain an appropriate state-required security certification (Guard Card), or be able to obtain one upon employment.
• Have at least one year of experience in a corporate office setting.
• Demonstrate the ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Contribute positively as part of a team and help with various tasks.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Welcome employees, visitors, and guests to the campus.
• Use the Visitor Management System (VMS) to support a smooth check-in process.
• Provide excellent customer service and actively engage with each individual.
• Manage guests and residents, deliver packages, and answer phones.
