About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Services in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including healthcare. At a healthcare location, you will be a welcoming presence for patients, visitors, and staff while helping maintain a secure environment. You will manage access, respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service. The listed schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, and Saturday and Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Greet patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at the front desk while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Manage visitor access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials as applicable, maintaining entry records, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
Monitor front-desk activity, access points, and available systems to identify and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as needed.
Communicate professionally with diverse individuals and maintain accurate daily activity documentation to support a welcoming and orderly healthcare environment.
