Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors, verifying identification and/or access credentials, and following site-specific security-related procedures for a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, manage visitor sign-in processes, issue temporary access materials when appropriate, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, building personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Answer phones and assist with inquiries, help to direct authorized individuals to the appropriate destination, and support daily front desk operations with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Observe the front desk area and surrounding entrance points for security-related concerns, help to deter unauthorized access, and report maintenance, access control, and/or incident-related issues promptly.
