About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor activity to help support authorized access throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions requiring attention.
  • Communicate with site contacts, staff, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related concerns, access requests, and incident updates in a professional manner.
