As a Front Desk Security Professional at a residential location, you will welcome residents and visitors, support access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will use computer or tablet systems, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain clear communication while helping to deter incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and package logs.
  • Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting emergency services and/or site management when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, provide directions and general assistance, and communicate professionally with residents, guests, building staff, and Allied Universal leadership.
