As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access, monitor security-related systems, and respond to alarms or concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, maintain a professional presence, and support access control procedures for the building.
  • Monitor visitor access, verify credentials as required, issue temporary access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Receive and route calls, coordinate with building management and/or emergency responders as appropriate, and document security-related activities.
