About The Position

As a Security Officer Identity Verification in Remington, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment for employees and visitors. The role involves using a computer or tablet to document activity, communicating clearly, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a part-time position scheduled for Monday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Thursday from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM, paying $15.70 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
Screen incoming and outgoing traffic as assigned, including delivery drivers and vendors, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
