About The Position

As a Security Officer Identity Validation in Newnan, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, personnel, and materials in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and office areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document observations and complete required reports.
