About The Position

As a Security Officer - Identity Verification in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Monitor entry points, verify access credentials, assist visitors, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. Conduct routine patrols, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, maintain visitor logs, and support authorized entry and exit procedures for personnel and deliveries.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document incidents, access-control activity, and unusual observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
