As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Validation in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, and monitor activity to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document security-related activity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
  • Screen and direct delivery personnel, vendors, and other visitors to appropriate locations while supporting established facility traffic and access protocols.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document activities as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
