As a Security Officer Identity Screening in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology location, you will support access control by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and monitoring entry points to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen persons and approved items entering designated areas using established procedures, verifying credentials, reviewing access authorization, and reporting irregularities to site leadership.
Monitor entry points, visitor flow, and restricted-area access to help deter unauthorized entry and support protection of sensitive technology, equipment, and information.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, perimeters, and parking areas, while documenting observations and reporting potential concerns.
