About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Support Rover in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Hospital vaccines are required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to restrain individuals.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor directions, and support orderly movement throughout the location.
Support access control, badge verification, and other security-related functions in accordance with site policies while maintaining professionalism and customer service at all times.
