About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Rover in Lawton, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas while assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access questions, directions, and/or general support.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel and support follow-up actions according to post instructions.
