As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol Driver in Niceville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, support a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
  • Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to restrain individuals when required.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to location protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with wayfinding and directional support, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support staff during medical-related emergencies, de-escalation situations, and/or other urgent events while maintaining professionalism and following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
