About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Rover in Manteca, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, assist staff, patients, and visitors with professionalism, and deliver strong communication and customer service while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values.

Requirements

  • Hospital assignments require applicable vaccinations.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help manage visitor, patient, and staff movement in accordance with site protocols, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with security-related presence during high-traffic periods, restricted area monitoring, and/or incident follow-up as directed by site procedures.
