Requirements

Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support orderly operations and timely communication with site contacts and/or first responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee movement in accordance with site policies, helping to report concerns, document activity, and/or assist with directions and general assistance.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or site personnel as needed.
