As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Union City, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, urgent situations, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and/or report security-related concerns in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by providing directions, answering questions, and/or communicating with hospital personnel during routine and emergency situations.
