About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Bilingual in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Possess 6 or more months of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, direct visitors to appropriate destinations, and/or report policy-related concerns to designated personnel.
  • Assist with de-escalation efforts and provide a visible presence in patient care and public areas to help address security-related concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
