As a Security Officer Bilingual / Patrol in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic grocery retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access to the location and observe customer, visitor, and/or vendor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support asset protection efforts by helping to monitor high-traffic areas, assisting with incident response, and completing required reports related to security-related concerns.
