About The Position

As a Security Officer Bilingual Patrol Specialist in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Allied Universal officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
• Support daily location operations by assisting with closing procedures, monitoring high-traffic areas, and providing visible security-related presence during busy business hours.
