About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Campus Guard in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Proof of required vaccinations is required for this hospital location.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and common areas, assisting with access-related processes, visitor directions, and support during busy periods or after-hours operations.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating with personnel, patients, and visitors, helping to address questions, de-escalate issues, and/or relay information to site contacts and first responders as needed.
