About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Campus Patrol in Lutz, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help to control access, observe activity, and/or report concerns according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and/or provide clear updates to supervisors and site personnel regarding security-related matters.
