As a Security Officer Hospital Campus Patrol in West Jordan, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities in accordance with site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control, visitor screening, and direction as needed.
Support nursing staff, employees, and visitors with security-related concerns, escalating issues to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
