As a Security Officer - Highrise Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming presence at a professional office location, supporting access control, visitor management, badge processes, and alarm panel response. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and help maintain a secure environment through attentive front-desk operations. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor information, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Answer phones, provide directions and general information, and communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor front desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy concerns, and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
