About The Position
As a Security Guard Highrise Plaza Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel or resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist guests, staff, and visitors with professionalism. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control activities, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hotel public areas, guest corridors, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions or incidents in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Assist with documenting incidents, completing activity reports, and communicating relevant information to hotel management and Allied Universal leadership.
