As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site - Overnight Shift in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support a secure, welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be willing to work in or around a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be willing to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, monitor access points, and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Assist with access control activities by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying authorized access when required, and addressing questions from employees, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Support daily operations by observing activity in lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and other assigned locations, while maintaining a visible presence and providing assistance as needed.
