About The Position

As a Security Officer Healthcare Response Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming location experience through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor access points, observe site activity, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized presence according to post orders and client guidelines.
  • Support day-to-day location operations by following assigned post instructions, preparing clear reports, and communicating notable observations to Allied Universal management and/or designated site personnel.
