As a Security Officer Patrol Response in ST JOSEPH, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily site operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and help follow visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures while reporting suspicious behavior, unauthorized entry attempts, and/or policy concerns.
• Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate clearly during shift changes regarding incidents, patrol findings, and/or site-specific concerns.
