About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Heath, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity, access concerns, and other security-related issues.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support screening and access control procedures in accordance with site policies.
Assist with reporting hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns that may affect daily operations, while following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed protocols.
