As a Security Officer Healthcare Driving Patrol in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing individuals to the appropriate department or contact when needed.
  • Assist with de-escalation support and general assistance in a healthcare environment, helping to promote orderly operations during routine activity and/or elevated situations.
