As a Security Officer Patrol Driving Position in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other sensitive areas within a financial institution location to help support authorized access and visitor processing in accordance with site policies.
  • Complete routine reports, maintain awareness of operational activity, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
