About The Position

Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk post at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor visitor access, confirm identification and/or credentials, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or service providers in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
  • Answer phones, greet employees, visitors, and drivers, and provide directions and/or information while maintaining awareness of front desk activity and access control concerns.
  • Prepare reports related to incidents, access activity, and/or daily observations, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of post orders and site policies.
