About The Position

As a Security Officer Guest Checkpoint Specialist in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct guests, employees, and vendors according to site access procedures.
Answer phones, manage visitor logs, issue badges and/or access materials, and support a professional front desk presence throughout the shift.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, monitoring lobby activity, and communicating security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
