Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking areas, garages, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic patterns, observe for unauthorized access, and/or report suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control and location operations by verifying authorized entry, providing directions and assistance, and/or completing required reports and activity logs.
