Requirements

Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, as assigned.
Help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior by monitoring access points and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during security-related events.
