As a Security Officer Graveyard Hospital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, as assigned.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior by monitoring access points and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during security-related events.
