As a Security Officer Government Site in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and support access control activities. You will use computer or tablet systems to document observations and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns through clear and timely reports.
