As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will manage access control points, greet shoppers and associates, verify credentials and/or deliveries, and monitor activity to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible, and communicate clearly with store teams and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and tenant staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Operate an access control post by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining access logs per site policy.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and communications systems, and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and assisting with scene control as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including sales floors, common areas, loading areas, and exterior walkways, as site conditions require.
