As a Security Officer Driver Gatehouse in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help support a secure environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
  • Monitor entry points, vehicle gates, and/or reception areas to help support authorized access, verify deliveries, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify potential issues, observe operational conditions, and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Support location operations within an automotive manufacturing environment by communicating with staff regarding visitor processing, contractor access, restricted areas, and/or shift activity while following Allied Universal standards.
