Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols, documenting relevant security-related observations and incidents.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate findings to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as directed.
