About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Verify credentials, issue and collect visitor badges, maintain access logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols and notifying site contacts as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, operational buildings, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
