As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Credential Audit in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team at Allied Universal that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
