As a Security Officer Full Time Credentialing in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, receiving, and warehouse personnel regarding scheduled deliveries, driver check-in, trailer movement, and restricted-area access.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including the business perimeter, parking areas, docks, gates, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
