As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Credentialing in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and work with integrity as part of Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring team.

Requirements

  • Have at least three years of experience in security-related roles, law enforcement, military police, or the military.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.
