As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, financial location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, restricted access areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee screening processes in accordance with site procedures for a financial institution location.
  • Assist with investigating unusual activity, preparing clear incident reports, and supporting law enforcement and/or emergency responders when circumstances require.
