Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, financial location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, restricted access areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee screening processes in accordance with site procedures for a financial institution location.
Assist with investigating unusual activity, preparing clear incident reports, and supporting law enforcement and/or emergency responders when circumstances require.
