Requirements

A Certified Protection Officer certification is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or daily activity as required.
Support cash handling and other high-value operational areas through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting of suspicious activity to appropriate contacts.
