As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Walworth, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, and providing outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support security-related operations through teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage production location; verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain required access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while supporting security-related operations.
