About The Position

Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard. What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths. As an Access Control Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, etc.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Ontario security license
• WSIB approved First aid certification
• Strong report writing skills and computer skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Must be able to conduct regular patrols
• Must be able to follow direction and multi-task
• Perform access control duties
• Use various forms of communication via phone, email, microsoft teams
• Be able to read standing orders, emails, and briefs that are written
• Ability to process information quickly
• Ability to write incident reports
